Steal a Favicon

If you need a favicon for your favourite website but it’s not available as https://sitename.com/favicon.ico as in the old school days, an example is https://www.raspberrypi.org/favicon.ico, which doesn’t return the favicon, but the browser displays it, but how can I get at it?

Google has the answer

http://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://www.raspberrypi.org

This little bit of code will display the favicon and you can nick it from here.

I like to have the favicons for sites in my KeePass database, it helps me visualise a search faster and all those seconds add up.
