Things to remember if you have a cloud deployed checkpoint cluster

Admin passwd
When you deploy a cluster in azure the “admin” passwd does not get set.

You will need to use the CLI Shell to set this.

# clish
set user admin password

or maybe you want to set the SIC key

# clish
set sic_init password one-time-password

More common things you might need to do.

Unload your local policy (unload the firewall rules sent from the management console)

fw unloadlocal

Check the status of a gateway (what policy is it running)

fw stat

If the firewall is dropping packets (determined by tcpdump) which rule is causing this?

fw ctl zdebug drop
