I’m a difficult person to buy Christmas Presents for! I have enough socks and undies to last two months between washes. Any gadget I need I already have, as I love gadgets.

I don’t like being bought a gadget that I already have, especially if it’s an inferior one, and usually, I buy the best, as “if you buy cheap, you buy twice”.

However, one Christmas present my wife got me this year was an electric coffee mug warmer, something I didn’t know I needed, but now I love it!

It’s very well designed, you cannot burn yourself on it when the mug is in place, it’s thermostatically controlled and offers three temperatures and turns itself off when it’s left on too long!!

I’m not sure whether this is a good thing with the cost of electricity, but I’m throwing away less coffee and spending more time in the office as a consequence, so I’m putting it down to a productivity boost!

I genuinely use this, which makes this a great present!

I love fresh coffee, and now it stays at the right temperature. I’ll have to keep an eye on how much I drink.
